How to clean your Comply® Foam Tips

Occasional cleaning will help your ear tips last longer, but excessive cleaning can decrease the lifespan and cause premature tears. Save cleaning for when it’s needed!

  1. To clean, gently wipe tips with a soft, damp cloth.
  2. Allow tips to air dry before next use.

Warning: Never use soap, detergent, or alcohol-based cleaners as they will damage the foam. We also recommend that you avoid touching the ear tips immediately after applying lotion or hand sanitizer to your hands.

For optimal performance, replace standard Comply ear tips every three months or when they become soiled; TrueGrip MAX tip users can expect roughly double the lifespan.

How to Install your Comply® Foam Tips.

Wired Devices:

  1. Remove the ear tips from your wired earbuds.
  2. Angle the Comply ear tip and insert it over the sound port. Firmly press down until tip fits securely on the device. Ensure the tip is secure before use.
  3. Roll the tip between your fingers into a thin, round cylinder.
  4. Gently insert the entire ear tip into your ear and hold it in for 10-15 seconds.
  5. To remove, firmly pinch tip and peel off to one side.

Wireless Devices:

  1. Remove the ear tips from your wireless earbuds.
  2. Firmly press Comply tip onto the sound port. Ensure the tip is secure before use.
  3. Once installed, roll the tip between your fingers into a thin, round cylinder.
  4. Gently insert the entire ear tip into your ear and hold it in for 10-15 seconds.
  5. To remove, firmly pinch tip and peel off to one side.

AirPods Pro:

  1. Remove the stock ear tips from your AirPods Pro.
  2. Align the oval tip and press down until you hear a secure “click.” Ensure the tip is secure before use.
  3. Pinch sides to compress foam. Insert into ear and hold in place until fully expanded.
  4. To remove, firmly pinch tip and pull off to one side for AirPods Pro 1&2, or pull straight off for AirPods Pro 3

Galaxy Buds3 & 4 Pro

  1. Remove the stock ear tips from your Buds3 or 4 Pro.
  2. Align the oval tip and press down until you hear a secure “click.” Ensure the tip is secure before use.
  3. Pinch sides to compress foam. Insert into ear and hold in place until fully expanded.
  4. To remove, firmly pinch tip and pull off or use removal tool and provided instructions.

Google Pixel Buds:

  1. Remove the ear tips from your Google Pixel Buds.
  2. Align the Comply tip and apply pressure until the inner core is touching the earbud and you have a secure fit. Ensure the tip is secure before use.
  3. Pinch sides to compress foam. Insert into ear and hold in place until fully expanded.
  4. To remove, firmly pinch tip and peel off to one side.
